Transport Management

For schools that run their own school buses, Scholva's transport module handles routes, drivers, and parent notifications.

Setting up a route

1. Go to Transport → Routes → New
2. Enter the route name and description
3. Add stops along the route with pickup times
4. Assign a vehicle and driver
5. Click Save

Adding students to a route

1. Open the route
2. Click Add Students
3. Select students and assign them to a stop
4. Set pickup and drop-off preferences
5. Click Save

Real-time tracking

If your vehicles have GPS devices connected:

• Parents can see the bus location live on the map
• Automatic notifications when the bus is nearby
• Alerts if the bus deviates from the planned route

Transport fees

Transport fees are configured separately in Fees → Fee Structures as a transport fee component. They appear on student invoices automatically once you assign them to a route.
